jt is an easily dominated hand. theres a good chance the person raising has AT KT QT OR AJ KJ OR QJ. calling a raise with jt is a donk move, and deciding to play a hand because it is suited is even more of a donk move.
check out Jimmy ‘The heat’ Montana, he goes round gambling? in local shops and stores instead of paying! Very funny
This is all real.
Did you know what a Refferal Code is? me neither but finally I do and it is cool how easy it is to make my founds double with fulltilt poker without any effort [at. I ve just used the Bonus Code FILM and thats all I had to do to get the $600. I hav never played Poker before but it was so fun to learn. Its just so cool to win cash and have fun at the same time.
I’m assuming this is all staged for instructional purposes? You’d think a poker player could’ve done a better acting job while pretending to agonize over folding 9s on a reraise.
Gordon needs to get more specific with the types of situations though. This situation is a pretty easy fold, because he still had players to act behind him. But the gap concept doesn’t always apply, since personally I dont see much wrong with calling a raise with JT suited (depending on position) even though I might not make a raise with it.
The gap concept is one of the most overlooked concepts in Poker. It needs a name, if only to tell the donks what to look up. It also justifies betting out of position with a medium-strength hand.
A lot of good poker players are named phil, except from Gordon, now spending all that time with the nines, as if its a monster, then making a comment after a player is all in.
actually have you read his books their great you should check them out jerk
Uh…is this supposed to be informative? Obviously your folding the 99 here…
Gordon really isn’t as good as he thinks he is.

also, as i can see the blinds are 3k/6k, a raise to 20k from chris isnt small at all.
All these guys are donks compared to me
- Phil hellmuth
the dealer said, “Bilnds are still 3 and 6 with a thousand dollar ante”. How can the players call $4000 if they want to stay in the hand??

Chris did not have a lot of chips in front of him. It’s standard to put a short stack all in with AK there. And Butch was playing way, way, way too many hands to begin with so she knew he wasn’t strong, but also didn’t want to bring AK against 2 other hands.
She is not a real professional player, she’s an actress.
true, its funny i was in a tourney not too long ago and i over heard some rail bird talking about AK and how he would fold it at a final table, and how its not a good hand. I was thinking ok and thats why ur on the rail and im still in. LOL
I guess you picked the right person to do it against.Like the so-called book says the 3rd raise usually means AA or KK.You took a chance and it paid off.Even if the guy has QQ the A or the K always pops up.Against me anyway I wouldn’t have tilted…..In this case Chris is the short stack and is known to be a tight player. He only makes a small raise, all the bells and sirens should of gone off.HE HAS A BIG HAND !!Harmony is an idiot.
I do, and it works pretty well for me. Last time a rasied a rerasie i put the guy into the tank. He asked me if he folds would i show him. He folded and showed QQ, i showed him the AK and he was on tilt for the rest of the tournament. Im not the only one Pros like Phil Hellmuth would do the same.
